We continue to stock a full range of texts, novels, study guides and stationery not only for our official schools, but those required by most Victorian Schools. Where we do not currently stock the item you are after, we are happy to order it in for you.
We are open at convenient times throughout the year, including Saturday mornings. We offer extended trading hours during the peak season for your convenience.

| 4. Second Hand Books | |

| At Endeavour Books, we understand that the cost of school books can put a real strain on the family budget which is why we continue to offer a 2nd hand book service.
Our policy on the trade-in of 2nd hand books is as follows:
Books can only be traded in during the month of December - we are sorry but this time period is strictly enforced in all stores so please only bring 2nd hand books in during this time.
We are only able to trade-in books purchased from us originally - our computer system goes back many years with all text books purchases recorded by customer so we can track this.
We offer a credit to be used against the purchase of your next years books. We are happy to transfer this credit to a sibling. If you have no further use of school books in your family, we have a great range of new release fiction and non-fiction that you can use your credit against instead - perhaps some relaxing holiday reading following exams!
Books will only be accepted for trade-in where they will be on our schools booklists the following year, and they must be current editions.
Books will only be accepted for trade-in where they are in excellent condition. No highlighting, broken spines, scribbles or notes. All our staff will strictly adhere to this policy as we have found we cannot on-sell books that do not meet these requirements.
We do not trade-in workbooks, study guides or primary school books.
Purchasing 2nd Hand Books
As you can imagine, the demand for 2nd hand books is high. If you are after 2nd hand books, we recommend that you come into the store from mid-December onwards. This gives us time to have gathered a reasonable stock of 2nd hand books for you to purchase.
Do not leave it too late - typically have almost no 2nd hand books left by mid January!!! Come in early to avoid disappointment.
Due to demand, 2nd hand books cannot be held for you.

At Endeavour Books we know how quickly the cost of stationery can add up. We also know how quickly these items can run out or be lost! To assist parents we work hard to keep our stationery prices as low as possible, often matching or even beating the chain store prices. Come in and compare.
We stock booklisted stationery the whole year round ensuring that students can always get what they need at the lowest possible prices.
Note that whilst we do our best to always keep our prices low, we are generally unable to price match stationery.
